ANNOUNCEMENT: JOHN POLLOCK TO LEAVE 9DASHLINE

22 December 2021

Following an auspicious twenty-month stint that has seen John Pollock fill several key roles with the platform, he is set to leave in the new year in order to expand his work at the Royal Institute of International Affairs — Chatham House (London).

His work in helping deliver sharp and timely analysis coupled with his commitment to seek out the next generation of leading thinkers has helped drive our success to date.

John Pollock said: “Since its launch in April 2020, I have had the privilege to work with some of the most gifted thinkers working on the Indo-Pacific today. Through them, I have learned about the region and watched the platform develop into a hub for rigorous analysis, debate and insights. To everyone who has written for 9DL over the last two years, our success is down to you, our community of writers, and our achievements are as much down to your hard work, as they are ours. I look forward to contributing and cheering on its every success and above all else, I wish my colleagues all the very best for 2022 as they take the platform into what I am sure will be its best year yet”.

David MacSweeney, [Founder] said: “While we have planned for John’s departure for some time his insights and enthusiasm will certainly be missed — his departure, nevertheless, creates opportunities for others to step in and help drive 9DASHLINE forward and we wish him every success in his future endeavours”.
